Favorite place in Hamburg and why: The middle of the Alster, sat in a canoe – being in such a wide-open space, surrounded by water in the middle of a city is very calming.
Favorite foreign language and why: Italian – it’s reassuringly regular (unlike English) and makes me think of sunshine and good food.
